From our JULY/AUGUST issue 2013 -- Vol., No. 4:
May-June 2011 issue
ON THE COVER: Don Gearhart, an oil man who moved to Oklahoma in the late 1920s, made an atypical rig of “pocket-sized” decoys for use in the Louisiana marshes, ponds and potholes, where
he often traveled for work. Included in the rig were a small number of sculpturally unique tip-up decoys that are unparalleled, featuring rare leg carving, incising, wing separation, ballast systems and precise paint detail.  CLICK HERE TO READ THE ARTICLE.
